Description and Responsibilities
Medical electrophysiology technologists perform medical examinations using electronic devices (electroencephalograph, myograph, cardiograph, etc.) to measure and record heart and brain activity, among other things, enabling doctors to diagnose certain diseases, lesions and abnormalities. To this end, they prepare patients, perform requested exams, read data obtained and proceed with the exams on the basis of data recorded.
Medical electrophysiology technologists handle and use devices with precision in order to record data properly and allow doctors to make an accurate diagnosis.

Medical electrophysiology training is offered at the following institutions:
