Description and Responsibilities
Emergency Medical Dispatchers (EMDs) are responsible for answering and dispatching 911 emergency medical calls requiring ambulance transport within the designated service area.
In addition to answering calls from the public, EMDs coordinate the territorial dispatch of ambulances to optimize service delivery to the population.
Education and Training Requirements
The required qualification is a high-school diploma. On-the-job training will be provided to prepare new employees for their roles as EMDs.

- Must be empathetic and always ready to help

- Must have excellent stress management and emotional control

- Must remain calm, focused, and professional under pressure
