Description and Responsibilities

IT specialists provide software and hardware configuration, optimization and security of information systems, technological infrastructures and telecommunication networks. They ensure the establishment, operation and evolution of complex technological components. IT specialists support computer technicians in solving problems. They may be called upon to develop plans for the implementation of technological projects and coordinate the work of a team of computer technicians.

Education and Training Requirements

IT specialists must have a college diploma in computer science technology Ce lien ouvre une nouvelle fenêtre or a certificate in relevant studies recognized by a competent authority. They must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in their area of specialization and hold a specialization certification issued by a competent and recognized authority in information technology.
